PAIS Network

Philosophy, AI and Society Network

We have established a network of scholars around the world, aiming to bring the cutting edge of analytic philosophy to bear on the problems raised by the morality, law and politics of data and artificial intelligence. But the PAIS network is not only focused on the contributions moral and political philosophy can make to how we think about data and AI. Our number also includes philosophers of science, and philosophers of mind, among others, aiming to both bring the insights of their fields to bear on AI, and to take lessons from AI that can advance their fields.

Members of the PAIS network have continuing and postdoctoral positions at, besides ANU, LSE, Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh, Stanford, Harvard, Northeastern, Carnegie Mellon University, UCL, Princeton, St Andrews, South Florida State University, MIT, York University, NYU, DeepMind, and Syracuse.
