Academic Board's Data Governance Working Group
Seth Lazar was invited to be on the Academic Board's Data Governance Working Group, with the remit to consider the university's principles and policies around data protection, in particular in relation to the data generated by members of the university as they use its services (digital and otherwise). The ANU, like all universities, is now driven by digital communication, but our principles and practices for managing the data thereby generated are considerably out of date. The Working Group aims to articulate some ground rules for how the university handles and makes use of the data generated by its members.
