TypeHuman is a technology consulting agency and social enterprise. They appointed three Faculty Fellows to their board, and began an essay series with the new appointees. As one of the appointees, Jenny wrote a commissioned essay on the prompt: "Is there room for hope?". The essay addresses how technologies of automation are implicated in and imbricated with profound social inequalities, and how these technologies can also be tools of activist empowerment.
