Pamela Robinson

Research Fellow

Dr. Pamela Robinson works on ethics, epistemology, and rationality. Her dissertation was on foundational problems for normative theories. She’s now especially interested in the prospect of moral machines and artificial agents that act as advisors in moral and rational decision-making and belief-formation. Her current research focuses on moral and normative uncertainty, moral and normative disagreement, epistemic dependence, action guidance and normative internalism, and how this bears on the project of building beneficial artificial intelligence.
