Karla is a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at the Australian National University. She holds a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Arts Informatics from the University of Sydney. Karla has over 10 years of IT industry experience across the government and private sectors. Karla's research focuses on the impacts of AI embodiment in extended reality on trust and performance for human-machine teaming.
