Anastasia Cammaroto

Chief Information Officer, Personal Banking and Digital at the National Australia Bank

Anastasia started her career in engineering design and delivery roles and has held CIO roles with the Westpac Group and BT Financial Group. Her experiences span technology executive and transformation roles across Consumer Banking, Digital, Shared Services (HR, Finance, Risk and Operations), Private Wealth, Platforms and Investments and Technology Infrastructure and large scale delivery. Within her roles, she has led the evolution of AI-based customer services and their associated management principles to assure an inclusive, ethical and pragmatic path.

She has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree and a Masters in Engineering Science from the University of NSW, Sydney.

Ana is a passionate advocate for addressing the gender imbalance in technology. In 2018 she was co-author of Westpac Group’s STEM Commitment which captures the initiatives and partnerships Westpac drove to help build a more STEM confident nation. In 2018, Ana was also selected as the Westpac Group Woman of Influence for her work in amplifying STEM confidence and experiences in students and adults.

Outside of work Ana enjoys live music, travel and lots of family time and is a keen podcast listener.
