Jake Stone

PhD Candidate

Jake is a PhD candidate in Philosophy with the Australian National University and holds an MSc in data science, a BA (Hons) in philosophy, and a LLB (Hons). Jake’s research explores the intersection of the ethics, regulation, and implementation of artificial intelligence. His current work focuses developing a theory of predictive justice which can guide the ethical deployment of automated decision making in industry.
