The entry is an overview of Decision Theory and philosophical work on this topic. We did revisions to this entry this year (2020). One major addition was to include recent work on "unawareness" about all the possible consequences of one's decision options: how one should accommodate known unawareness in decision making, and whether there are rational constraints on how one should revise one's beliefs when one spontaneously becomes aware of new possibilities.
