Alexander Soen is a PhD student in the School of Computing, at the Australian National University. His primary research focus is on utilising boosting methods, information geometric tools, and the theory of loss function to develop algorithms which account for societal requirements. This includes developing algorithms which theoretically satisfy fairness or privacy constraints.
