PhD Candidate

Belona is a PhD candidate in the Research School of Computing at the Australian National University. Her research focuses on formal explanations and fairness in AI systems, with a strong preference for health applications. Prior to ANU, she earned a master's degree in artificial intelligence from the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences in Kigali, Rwanda, and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Ngaoundere, Cameroon.
